On September 14, 1993; AFT was established by Trey Walters in Louisville, Ohio. The world’s earlier graphical pipe flow analysis product, AFT Fathom 1.0, for Microsoft Windows was announced on April 12, 1994. It took about six weeks to company to get the first order. AFT’s initial deal was with Methanex in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada on May 25, 1994. In 2004 the first add-on modules were build up and incorporated with AFT Fathom 6. The AFT Fathom Settling Slurry (SSL) module was released in 2009.
