Industry Expert "Having 3 yrs Experience in hardware design in WIPRO Technology"
|
|
INSTRUCTOR PROFILE:
• More than 3 yrs of experience in Hardware Design in WIPRO Technologies.
• Experience in High Speed Board Design, Analog & Digital Circuit Design and FPGA coding.
• Would be pursuing MS in Analog and Mixed Signal design from US starting August 2010.
INTRODUCTION TO PSpice :
PSpice is a PC version of SPICE which is currently available from OrCAD
Corp. of Cadence Design Systems,Inc.It is the main engine that is used to
perform the circuit analysis, verify circuit designs and to predict the circuit
behaviour.Spice is the short form of Simulated Program with Integrated Circuit
Emphasis. In addition ,PSpice has analog and digital libraries of standard
components.
OrCAD CAPTURE will be used for
PSpice analysis. capture is user-friendly a program that allows you to enter a
schematic ,specify the type of simulation and to perform the necessary
conversion into a a PSpice Netlist
PURPOSE OF COURSE :
The course is of particular
importance to aspiring analog design engineers as it will help them to enhance
both the analog design skills as well as increase their adeptness with the
simulation tool PSpice. We will focus only on using Capture for circuit
description by making schematics rather than writing a circuit description file
for it.Thus, you will also learn the use of CAPTURE which is a schematic design
tool widely accepted by the industry.
BENEFITS OF THE COURSE :
- Minimize the time to learn Pspice and schematic capture
- A learning experience with hands-on, interactive training which helps solidify
the concepts in analog electronics
-
Knowing Pspice and its application will definitely boost your profile & would be
an added advantage while applying to Analog Design companies.
|
COURSE DURATION :
4 weeks extensive analog design
classes and hands on interactive lab sessions.
PREPARATION FOR THE COURSE :
The course covers all the concepts
in analog electronics from the root level but knowledge of basic analog
electronics and engineering mathematics would be helpful in the course. Prior
knowledge of any simulation tool will also be useful.
